I usually go to Solaris very often even before most of the shops are open due to my work. But i never got around to try all the restaurants in the area. My friends has been crazy about this Tenji buffet. Pictures here and there some of them are really mouth watering. So i decided to put my foot down and got me self there to try the food out. But the most regretted is that i forgot to bring my digicam!!!! arghhh!!!!!

During the Chinese new year i had the opportunity to visit a very famous landmark in KL for the Chinese, which is the Thean Hou Temple. It is a six-tiered Chinese temple in Kuala Lumpur. It is located at Robson Heights along Lorong Bellamy, overlooking Jala Syed Putra (Federal Highway). the view form this magnificent building over the Kuala Lumpur city skyline is breathe taking in the morning till night.

After a long tiring day at work me and June decided to head home but with growling stomachs and bad KL traffic we decided to take a detour to the nearest food place. After managing to detour out of a long bottleneck road we agreed to head to KLCC plus someone agreed to pay for our food. (the one below) hehe….

Ahh.. the famous Pulau Ketam HoHo SteamBoat. Not sure if it’s really from Pulau Ketam but who cares as long as its tasty and mouth watering.. Yum….
My classic favourite to steamboats. It’s healthy and very filling. The minimun as usual is 2 persons portion and around RM 13.90 per person which is very cheap. I go there usually for the ‘QQ Taufu’. I decided to go back and try more of pappa’s menu yesterday. Was very hungry, so i decided to get the Chicken Chop with rice, fish and chips, Koey teow soup and the Nasi Lemak.
The chicken chop was fantastically grilled just the way i like it. Crispy skin but soft meat on the inside. But the overall presentation was just a okay. The bull’s eye was a let down, it look like it was done in a mamak store. Overall the food taste good but the should go without the …

This Kopitiam recently opened and attacted alot of interest from the locals in the area (dig from the owner =P) although there were fierce competition from the surrounding coffee shops and
restaurants. They are doing quite well compared to the more well off kopitiams around like pakli’s kopitiam, station one and many more strategically located around this area.
